Long-Distance Chauffeur from Munich — Luxora VIP

Long-Distance Chauffeur
from Munich

Sometimes flying is not worth it – when the door-to-door time is under three hours, when you are travelling with several people and a lot of luggage, or when you can use the driving time in the car more productively than the time spent in security. That is exactly what our long-distance chauffeur service is made for: you step in at your front door, arrive at your hotel or office door, and in between you can work, read or sleep.

When driving beats flying

When a long-distance trip with a chauffeur makes sense

On routes between 300 and 800 kilometres, the door-to-door time by car is often competitive with flying – and the comfort is significantly greater. You save the drive to the airport, security check, gate waiting time, baggage wait and transfer from the destination airport. For two or more travellers with luggage, the chauffeur quickly pays for itself financially too, especially if you would otherwise fly business class. Add to that a significant advantage: you can work during the journey without constant interruptions from boarding announcements, seatmates or turbulence.

  • Door to door without security, boarding and airport waiting – on routes up to 800 km often faster than flying when you honestly count arrival and departure times.
  • Fully mobile workspace in the vehicle: stable Wi-Fi, generous legroom, quiet conversations and calls possible – focused work for four or five hours without interruption.
  • With luggage or multiple travellers the chauffeur quickly pays for itself – no excess baggage fees, no check-in queue, no repacking into security trays at the airport.
  • Multi-day trips possible: the same chauffeur and vehicle remain available for the entire duration of your trip – on request with standby at your hotel between appointments.

Popular routes

Where we regularly drive from Munich

On the map around Munich there are four route clusters that we cover particularly frequently. Each has its own requirements regarding lead time, toll regulations and chauffeur experience. On all four route clusters the same applies: fixed price before the journey, tolls and vignettes included, chauffeur overnight stay for multi-day trips disclosed separately.

  • Italy: Milan, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Madonna di Campiglio, Lake Garda, Venice – Brenner motorway routes are our standard, with vignettes and Italian tolls fully included in the fixed price.
  • Switzerland: Zurich, St. Moritz, Davos (especially during WEF), Geneva, Basel – including Swiss vignette and observance of Swiss traffic regulations. English-speaking chauffeurs on request.
  • Austria: Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lech, Kitzbuhel, Graz – standard routes in four to seven hours, with Austrian vignette included. Ski-luggage-compatible boot space on request.
  • Germany: Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf – routes between 300 and 800 km, often as a two-day roadshow with two or three business appointments at the destination.

For particularly long routes over 600 km we offer two chauffeurs in rotation on request, so that driving time can be reduced. For multi-day trips it is often more sensible to schedule a single chauffeur with adequate rest time between stages – that depends on the exact itinerary and number of legs. Popular individual routes: Munich – Salzburg and Munich – Zurich.

Pricing & booking

What a long-distance trip with chauffeur costs

Long-distance bookings are charged either as a fixed price per route or as a custom quote. Included in the price are chauffeur, vehicle, tolls, vignettes and waiting time at appointments. For multi-day journeys, chauffeur overnight costs (typically EUR 100-150 per night in a 3-star hotel) and any incidentals are added. Hourly rates: E-Class from EUR 150/h, S-Class from EUR 180/h, V-Class from EUR 150/h.

  • Fixed prices per route available on request: For classic routes like Munich to Vienna, Zurich, Milan or Berlin we provide a binding quote.
  • Multi-day trips: Custom calculation based on route and duration. Contact us for a tailored offer.
  • Foreign costs transparently disclosed: Italian and Austrian tolls, Swiss vignette, chauffeur overnight – everything is confirmed in writing before booking, no hidden costs.
  • Two chauffeurs in rotation (for routes over 600 km with time pressure): surcharge per day plus second overnight. Recommended only when urgency requires it, otherwise a single chauffeur is more cost-effective.

Payment is by bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal or for business clients by invoice with consolidated billing. For multi-day bookings a 30% deposit upon confirmation is standard, with the balance settled after the trip or via monthly consolidated invoice.

Have Questions? Get in Touch!

Enquiry in seconds, fixed-price confirmation within 30 minutes. For multi-day trips or special occasions we discuss the itinerary in advance.

From what distance is it considered a long-distance trip?
We set the threshold at approximately 200 km per leg, because from this distance the specifics of tolls, route selection and chauffeur breaks become relevant. Classic examples include routes to Vienna, Zurich, Cortina, Milan, Innsbruck, Garmisch or Berlin. Under 200 km you usually book as a standard ride with a fixed price or hourly rate.
What does a long-distance trip Munich to Vienna cost?
Long-distance fixed prices available on request, depending on vehicle class and route. Hourly rates: E-Class from EUR 150/h, S-Class from EUR 180/h, V-Class from EUR 150/h. Including tolls, Austrian vignette, chauffeur, water and Wi-Fi. Contact us for a binding quote.
Are tolls, vignettes and chauffeur overnight stays included?
Tolls (German, Austrian, Italian) and vignettes (Austria, Switzerland) are included in the fixed price. For multi-day trips, chauffeur overnight costs are added (typically EUR 100-150 per night in a 3-star hotel), which we disclose transparently before booking. There are no hidden surcharges.
What about rest breaks for the chauffeur?
We strictly adhere to EU driving time regulations: a maximum of 4.5 hours continuous driving, then at least 45 minutes rest. On longer routes we plan breaks so they are unobtrusive for you – at service areas that are already along the route. For very time-critical routes over 600 km we can arrange two chauffeurs in rotation on request.
Can I have the same chauffeur for multiple days?
Yes, for multi-day trips that is standard. The same chauffeur and vehicle accompany you for the entire duration, which is especially valuable on roadshows or multi-day business trips. We schedule rest, waiting and hotel periods for the chauffeur so that you notice nothing.
Do you offer a fixed price for an entire multi-day trip?
Yes. If the itinerary and stages are set, we are happy to calculate a binding fixed-price offer for the entire journey – including tolls, vignettes, chauffeur overnight stays and waiting times at appointments. This gives you planning certainty and allows you to pre-approve the expense through your travel management.
