Munich Airport offers two separate handling facilities for private aviation: the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) on the southern apron, used for most business jet movements, and the VIP Wing – a dedicated lounge facility for state visits and ultra-high-net-worth passengers, with separate immigration and customs. Our chauffeurs are accredited at both. Depending on which handling agent is processing your aircraft (Air Service Basel, Aviapartner, ExecuJet, etc.), we coordinate the airside or landside meeting point in advance, so there is no ambiguity when you step off the jet.
- GAT direct pickup: your chauffeur is in position at the GAT lobby or, depending on your handling agent's policy, on the apron beside the aircraft when stairs are deployed.
- VIP Wing arrivals: separate handling for state guests and ultra-high-net-worth passengers, with private immigration; we coordinate directly with the VIP Wing operations team.
- Handling agent coordination: we liaise with your FBO (Air Service Basel, Aviapartner, ExecuJet, Jet Aviation, Signature) to confirm exact wheels-down time and meeting point.
- Maybach and Mercedes-Benz S-Class long-wheelbase available for ultra-premium pickups – with executive rear-seat configuration, partition wall on request, and full discretion clauses for the chauffeur.

How to arrange a VIP arrival
For VIP arrivals we strongly prefer to be involved 48-72 hours in advance, simply because handling agent coordination and apron access take time to confirm. The minimum information we need: aircraft tail number (or commercial flight if applicable), expected arrival time, name of your handling agent at MUC, your destination address, vehicle preference (Maybach / S-Class / V-Class Premium) and the names of all passengers for security clearance. For state-level arrivals, we hold an additional pre-arrival call with your protocol team.
- Booking lead time: ideally 48-72 hours for GAT pickups, 5-7 days for state-level VIP Wing arrivals or motorcade configurations.
- Maybach availability: 2-3 weeks advance notice for guaranteed Mercedes-Maybach S-Class allocation; otherwise S-Class long-wheelbase as standard.
- NDA and discretion clauses available on request – we routinely sign client-side non-disclosure agreements before sensitive engagements.
- Multi-leg bookings (Munich arrival → meetings → onward departure) are coordinated as a single engagement with the same chauffeur retained throughout.

What is the difference between GAT and the VIP Wing at Munich Airport?
The General Aviation Terminal (GAT) is the standard handling facility for business and private jets, located on the southern apron. The VIP Wing is a separate, dedicated terminal for state visits and ultra-high-net-worth passengers, with its own private immigration and customs. Both are accessible to our chauffeurs and we coordinate with whichever facility your handling agent uses.
Can my chauffeur meet me directly at the aircraft?
Yes, in many cases – this depends on your handling agent's apron access policy. We confirm in advance with your FBO whether the chauffeur waits at the foot of the airstairs, in the GAT lobby or at the VIP Wing private exit. Apron access requires advance security clearance, which is why we ask for 48-72 hours notice.
Is the Maybach always available?
No – the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class requires 2-3 weeks advance notice for guaranteed allocation, as it is in high demand. For shorter notice we recommend the Mercedes-Benz S-Class long-wheelbase, which offers comparable rear-seat comfort. For confirmed Maybach availability, please book as early as possible.
Do your chauffeurs sign non-disclosure agreements?
Yes, on request. NDA and discretion clauses are standard for our VIP and corporate engagements. We can sign your existing NDA template before the engagement begins. Many of our chauffeurs have additional security training and are accustomed to handling sensitive passengers without breaking confidentiality.
Can you organize a motorcade or follow-car for security?
Yes. For state-level visits, government delegations or high-risk passengers, we coordinate full motorcades including lead and follow vehicles, route security and timing with your protective detail. This requires advance planning – typically 1-2 weeks – and we hold an introductory call with your protocol or security team beforehand.
